Whew, that was quick! It moves along much faster when I play each household only once per round and use seasons instead of months! I'm loving it and I feel that it's moving at a pretty good pace, not too fast and not too slow. Anywho, a few pretty big things occurred this round, the biggest of all in my opinion being the opening of Crystal Bay Academy!

Starting the next round, I'm going to roll two ROS. Hopefully it won't be anything that will devastate my sims right out of the gate, but we'll see! I haven't rolled them yet so who knows. Also I will have 3 playables (Halinka Ivanov, Cassie Carmichael, and Angelo DeLorne) and 1 non-playable playable(Carla Harris) going off to Crystal Bay University. I've been waiting to have some teens to send so it should be great! I'm considering sending Payton Sneiff off as a playable since he caused such a scandal. I think he might be fun to play and he's the same age as the rest so I might send him as well. I doubt he will remain playable after college though.
I also noticed that some of my founder names are going to disappear......I had 4 freaking girls born this round! The DeLornes are ok because of Angelo, but Nickoli may not see his name passed on. I'm hoping he and Amanda will want at least one more and I hope it's a boy! Janet also may see the Peterson name snuffed out since little Taylor may not be the rolling stone her mom is! The Ivanov's will have the same problem since Halinka is their only child, but they aren't a founding family so it doesn't bother me as much. We'll see what happens, but it's not looking good. I wanted the founding names to last at least 2 generations.....is that too much to ask?!
One last thing: I'm VERY fascinated with the way that Laura does her skeleton stretching and want to try it out for myself.......so some sims will be alittle taller this next round. They're all either teens or children so we'll just call it a little growth spurt!!!!

Always Comes Back to You
Round 2 - Summer 2024
Janet Peterson is 27, Sinjin Couderc is 32, Taylor Peterson is 1

I'm in deep crap. I don't even know how I got into this situation. A little over a year ago, my life was passing along just fine, filled with wild parties and fast women and it was great! Then I met Janet Peterson. I've never met a woman who was able to match up with me, but Janet definitely can hold her own! At first it was fun, she'd call me whenever she needed some company. It was a great arrangement. Then I find out she's pregnant. Pregnant! I'm 32 years old and I never once thought about having any kids. I'm a pretty selfish man, I know this and that is why I simply never wanted kids. But it was happening.......
And here it is a year later and I can't imagine my life without Taylor in it. It's funny how you don't realize you want something until you get it. She's the best little girl in the whole wide world and I only hope that I can be a good dad to her.......one that she deserves............
So what is my problem? THIS! A cute waitress flirting with me and me having no interest........can you believe that?! There was a time when I would have hung around until closing and took her back to my place. I guess it doesn't help that my place is a house that I now share with Janet. Don't get me wrong, I love being able to see my daughter everyday, but things have just become so.........domestic!
These thoughts swirl around in my head on a daily basis. I've tried everything to just forget about it. I don't know what's wrong with me........I have no desire to go out to clubs anymore. No desires for a little afternoon delight. It's like aliens have come in and taken over my body!
I've been working out like a maniac so I'm tired by the time I get home. I don't want to think about any of this. It doesn't help to think about it. I've never felt this way before and I don't like it. I want to be back to the old Sinjin.....
But it's like I can't. I love women who love to hear me talk about myself. She's a cute petite blonde, right up my alley. But instead of offering to walk her home, I end the conversation and hit the showers before heading home........what is with me?
It can't be that I'm in love with Janet. Why would I be? She has to be one of the sloppiest sims I know! She's always walking around all hunched over. There's nothing sexy about that! Yes, I find her attractive at times. I mean it's obvious since we have a kid together. But Janet isn't worth giving up all the fun I've had over the years.......but is Taylor?
She is one of the fussiest babies I've ever seen, not that I've seen many babies. When she wants her bottle, she wants it now! I think she gets that from Janet. With Janet, it's either her way or no way at all!
Ok, so she's sloppy, but she's really wonderful with Taylor. I mean, when I first found out that Janet was pregnant, I figured that we were both going to be just sim-awful parents. Janet especially. I mean yea, I like to party, but I've always kept a very clean house. Janet is perfectly fine with living in filth. But I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised with how she's been with Taylor.
I look like Indiana Jones right? I've told my boss that it's just idiotic for us to have to wear this to digs, but he assures me there's good reasoning behind it. Reasoning that he has yet to explain to me!
While I'm at work, Janet spends some quality mother-daughter time together with Taylor. We try to make sure one of us is at home with her so we don't have to hire one of those awful nannies! She really is a great mom. That's one thing that I can't complain about when it comes to her. She's amazing.....
Taylor has really gotten into music. Anytime she hears some, she's on the floor bobbing her little head and shaking her little hands in the air! It's pretty funny to see, although I know exactly where she gets that trait from..........
I've walked in quite a few times and caught Janet dancing away! Taylor already idolizes her and wants to be just like mommy. I still haven't decided if that's really something she should be aspiring too!
She also likes to scribble with her crayons on her activity table. We went a little crazy with the gifts for her. We just really want her to be a well rounded girl and also we want her to have alot of fun!
I get home pretty late most nights, so bath time is also a mother daugher affair. Taylor loves taking baths and loves splashing around in the water. I kinda hate that I miss so much with her. Janet works as a party DJ a few nights a week and she makes her own hours at the salon so she gets to spend more time with her.
Yea she's a great mom. Maybe that's what I'm feeling. I appreciate what Janet does for our daughter, so I feel obligated to act like this is a real family. That has to be why I'm all of a sudden losing interest in going out with other women........so how do I fix it?
Janet may get bath time, but I get to potty train her. I don't know if that's really a fair trade though! She's learning quite fast and I'm sure pretty soon we won't have to change anymore diapers. We hope so anyway!
I've never been a man who loses control. I'm always in control of how I feel and what I do. I don't know what's happening to me. It's such a weird feeling to take someone else's feelings into account. I just can't seem to shake this feelings........
No matter what I do, it always comes back to her. Well I won't stand for it! So watch out Crystal Bay, Sinjin Couderc is coming back on the prowl!!!
*Sinjin is just a big bunch of contradictions. I think he might really be falling in love with Janet! He has stopped rolling wants for other women and he only rolls generic kiss and woohoo wants. He's constantly thinking about Janet and heart farting all over her. Well, Janet is a horse of a different color! She wants to woohoo with 3 different sims, while also wanting to have another baby. I don't know what these two are going to do! They still don't really roll wants for baby Taylor, but they autonomously take care of her........I just don't get these two!!!!

Birthdays: Spring 2024
Round 2 - Spring 2024
--Frader--
Nickoli is 27, Amanda is 25
Amanda Frader was making herself some chilli con carne when her labor pains hit. She yelled for Nickoli who promptly started freaking out! The babies were coming!
The first bundle of joy turned out to be a beautiful baby girl who has Amanda's freckles, eyes, and hair. Then it was time for baby number two........
Who turned out to also be a baby girl. Meet little Lauren Frader who also has Amanda's freckles and eyes, but her daddy's brown hair.
The first little bundle of joy is Layla Frader. Nickoli is going to pull all of his hair out when these little cuties become teens!
So here they are, Layla and Lauren Frader, their parents' pride and joy!

Fabio and Gabriella are 31, Angelo is 17, and Gina is 1
Gabriella has gone back to work at the hospital. The Crystal Bay Clinic will be opening soon and she has been chosen to head it. She hates that she has to work so much, but it will all pay off in the end. Unfortunately, it means that she will have to miss little Gina's first birthday!
But poppa Fabio is there and is more than willing to celebrate with just his son Angelo. Gina is too small to really appreciate a big party, so instead he decided to make it an intimate family affair. Plus, Gabriella felt bad enough about not being able to be there!
And here she is! Little Gina is the SPITTING image of her father! The only thing she seems to get from Gabriella is the full lips, which is good. Fabio's thin lips might not look so good on a female!
She is definitely a little cutie! She a very happy little girl and is very easily entertained! Hopefully she won't keep Fabio and Gabriella up TOO much during the night. She's still adjusting to the whole concept of day and night.
Big brother Angelo feels it's never too early to start potty training.....could that be because he's a little tired of changing all those dirty diapers? Probably so!
*Layla and Lauren look JUST alike! I think one of them has red hair and one has brown, but it's kinda hard to tell by just looking at their eyebrows.......Red and brown are pretty close! I know for a fact that they both have Amanda's eyes and skin which is excellent. I'm totally in love with that freckled skin!

*Angelo really spends alot of time with his baby sis. He's a family sim so it's not really all that surprising. I'm thinking of doing some portraits of this family and a few others. Angelo will be going off to college soon so it'll be nice to get a family pic before he gets too busy with school.
Just one more post before round 2 is officially over! This went by so much faster since I changed to seasons instead of months! Excellent!!! Up next, the Peterson household.
Crystal Bay Academy: The Start of Something Great......
Round 2 - Spring 2023
Tina Leary is the current Principal/Teacher and is 30
Here it is. Crystal Bay Academy. After a few rough years of students taking buses to schools in near by cities, Crystal Bay now has it's own school. It caters to students from the ages of 5-18 and offers opportunities for students to learn various forms of creativity as well as the basic skills needed to further their education. Tina Leary has been hired as the principal/teacher. The school will employ another teacher when one becomes available.
Kuo and Halinka were hard at work on their assignments. Well, Halinka was. Kuo was more interested in watching Halinka do hers. He and Halinka have been spending alot of time together and he's a bit worried that she will forget about him when she goes off to college in a year. He'll follow behind her the next year, but he's heard that college guys move fast.........
Gavin Newsome was visiting the school. He lives on the borderline of Crystal Bay and it's neighboring city so his parents decided that he should pick which school to attend. He and Donte Conaway actually got along pretty well and we're hoping he decides to stick with CBA.
Downstairs in the music room, Angelo DeLorne looked on while his girlfriend Carla Harris played a punching game with Payton Snieff. Payton has caused a bit of trouble in Crystal Bay with his scandalous relationship with the mayor's daughter. His classes have been scheduled around Cassie's classes in an effort to keep the peace!
Michael Leary and Britney Parker were hard at work on their paintings while TJ Carmichael and Jocelyn Arnold play around instead. Jocelyn is an advanced artist and the activity table seems to bore her. TJ is also a bit of a distraction for her as well. But TJ and Michael will be moving up to junior high classes next year so she should be able to concentrate a little better!
Cassie is pretty determined to design her own clothes one day and so her favorite activity is making things with the sewing table. She's been more focused since returning from vacation with her family. She should be, college is right around the corner and I'm sure her parent would be very grateful for any scholarships she could get to defer their costs!
Gavin has a few issues with his assignment, but Tina is right there to help him out. She really has a love for her students and loves working with kids. CBA couldn't have picked a better principal. She tough but fair and the students seem to really like her.
Halinka and Donte finish up early and decide to harrass the poor fish in the bio-aquarium. It was a pretty uneventful day at Crystal Bay Academy, but that's probably a good thing!

*Just FYI: Right now Britney Parker, Donte Conaway, Carla Harris, and Payton Snieff are my non-playables. Britney was already good friends with Jocelyn so I added her in. Donte's mom is dating Milton Arnold so he may become playable soon if his mother moves in with Milton. Carla is of course dating Angelo and she's just too cool. She will become playable at uni. And Payton, well you know the story! The non-playables that attend the high school will most of the time attend college as dormies just so they don't make repeat appearances later. And I'll probably age them up and make them townies too so they won't hang around uni forever! How do you handle your townie kids?

Round 2 - Spring 2024
Sam and Tina are 30, Michael is 11

Sam is still very hard at work on his farm. The market is doing very well and he is feeling very confident about his decision to start all of this. He's still too busy for us to really try to have another baby right now.......it makes me sad but it's ok. I've gotten the opportunity to do something pretty great........Crystal Bay is finally opening it's own school and they want me to be the principal! Classes start in a week and I'm so excited! I can't believe that I'm going to be able to be around so many different kids. It's a combined school so there will be kids there from the ages of 5 to 18. It's a big responsiblity, but I think I can do it.........
Retro is still a little handful, but we love him so much! I think I thought that having him would help get rid of the baby cravings, but they're still there. I try not to bother Sam with it though.......I know he's trying to make sure his farm will be a success right now.......
Michael is getting really good at fishing. He loves to be out back with his dad fishing in our little pond. He loves the outdoors so much and I'm sure that he will have no problem taking over farm when Sam gets older. He loves it!
Sam loves spending the quality time with him. I wish he would spend that much time with me......but like I said, I understand why he's working so hard.......it still makes me a little sad though. It would be great to have a little girl.........
The customers love Sam, and he's able to convince them that he has much fresher produce than the grocer stores. The word is getting around and more and more people are stopping by. We may have to hire someone to help him in the store once school starts.
Michael sets up his lemonade stand during store hours. It's a way for him to make a little money of his own. He loves doing it and is saving up his money for school. He won't make very much towards college, but I don't have the heart to tell him that!
I don't think I will have the time to be a cashier in the store and principal of the school so Sam will have to start interviewing people soon. I've been feeling kind of dowdy lately. I think I need a new look, something that will lift my confidence and make me look more like the principal of Crystal Bay Academy.........
Everyone thinks Michael is so cute, and his cuteness is what helps sell his lemonade. Candi Harris comes by quite a bit, and I don't really like it. Everyone knows she's dancing in that dirty club on Crystal Bay Island. I'm not really worried about Sam running off with her or anything, he likes red heads. I just don't like her being around my family..........
I decide to head over to Styles by JP to get a whole new look. Maybe Sam will be so overcome with how gorgeous I am that we'll finally make the little girl I want......yea, right........
Janet chopped my hair off into layers and lightened it a bit......I feel so much more professional! It's really a cute cut and I couldn't have come up with anything better. I had no idea what I wanted exactly, but she was able to take my random ramblings and turn them into exactly what I wanted!
Sam loves my new hair and has been giving me these little secret dirty looks.......I can't wait for Michael to go to bed! Finally, I get to come before the farm for once.........and all I had to do was cut off almost all of my hair!!!!!

Sam is still very hard at work on his farm. The market is doing very well and he is feeling very confident about his decision to start all of this. He's still too busy for us to really try to have another baby right now.......it makes me sad but it's ok. I've gotten the opportunity to do something pretty great........Crystal Bay is finally opening it's own school and they want me to be the principal! Classes start in a week and I'm so excited! I can't believe that I'm going to be able to be around so many different kids. It's a combined school so there will be kids there from the ages of 5 to 18. It's a big responsiblity, but I think I can do it.........
Retro is still a little handful, but we love him so much! I think I thought that having him would help get rid of the baby cravings, but they're still there. I try not to bother Sam with it though.......I know he's trying to make sure his farm will be a success right now.......Michael is getting really good at fishing. He loves to be out back with his dad fishing in our little pond. He loves the outdoors so much and I'm sure that he will have no problem taking over farm when Sam gets older. He loves it!Sam loves spending the quality time with him. I wish he would spend that much time with me......but like I said, I understand why he's working so hard.......it still makes me a little sad though. It would be great to have a little girl.........
The customers love Sam, and he's able to convince them that he has much fresher produce than the grocer stores. The word is getting around and more and more people are stopping by. We may have to hire someone to help him in the store once school starts.
Michael sets up his lemonade stand during store hours. It's a way for him to make a little money of his own. He loves doing it and is saving up his money for school. He won't make very much towards college, but I don't have the heart to tell him that!
I don't think I will have the time to be a cashier in the store and principal of the school so Sam will have to start interviewing people soon. I've been feeling kind of dowdy lately. I think I need a new look, something that will lift my confidence and make me look more like the principal of Crystal Bay Academy.........
Everyone thinks Michael is so cute, and his cuteness is what helps sell his lemonade. Candi Harris comes by quite a bit, and I don't really like it. Everyone knows she's dancing in that dirty club on Crystal Bay Island. I'm not really worried about Sam running off with her or anything, he likes red heads. I just don't like her being around my family.......... I decide to head over to Styles by JP to get a whole new look. Maybe Sam will be so overcome with how gorgeous I am that we'll finally make the little girl I want......yea, right........
Janet chopped my hair off into layers and lightened it a bit......I feel so much more professional! It's really a cute cut and I couldn't have come up with anything better. I had no idea what I wanted exactly, but she was able to take my random ramblings and turn them into exactly what I wanted!
Sam loves my new hair and has been giving me these little secret dirty looks.......I can't wait for Michael to go to bed! Finally, I get to come before the farm for once.........and all I had to do was cut off almost all of my hair!!!!!*Tina wants a baby so bad! Janet Peterson is 27, Sinjin Couderc is 32, Taylor Peterson is 1
Janet has really been doing well with her hair salon. She still has her slacker career job, but the extra income from the salon helps out alot. And she's gotten really good with the makeovers. She's the talk of Crystal Bay! And this time it's not because of all of her male "friends!"
She decides to throw a party for Taylor's first birthday. She invites over Nickoli Frader and Andrew Langerak, two of her former lovers. Andrew seems to have a problem with Nickoli, and pokes him during the whole party! Chill out Drew, Nick is a married, expecting father now! Maybe you should be poking on the guy that knocked Janet up.........oh wait, you didn't want her anyway right?
Janet also invites over Anya Ivanov. They have become pretty good friends since Janet hired her to work in the salon. Dimitri might want to watch himself.......Janet isn't really the best influence for an unhappy married woman..........
Soon it was time for baby Taylor to grow into a cute toddler (hopefully). Proud poppa Sinjin was there, he's just not pictured here.
She's the spitting imagine of Sinjin! That might change when she get's older, but right now she's definitely daddy's little girl! I don't really see any of Janet in her at all! It was time to change her out of the fugly hair and clothes that Maxis changes them into......really, stripes for a little girl?
Here she is with a new do and a pretty new dress. I couldn't get over how much she looks like Sinjin! It's like he had her instead of Janet!!!
Cliche "Awwwww" moment. Sinjin and Janet really are good parents. So much so that I decided to give them the second aspiration of family.......turned out to be a mistake because immediately Janet rolled the want to have another baby.........let's make sure they aren't going to screw Taylor up before we go creating more potential victims!
She is definitely a little cutie, no doubt about it! Her parents should be proud. For two extremely self involved sims, they created one cute little lady!
