I am one lucky man! I mean it. No one is luckier than I am at this present moment. So this might sound a little crazy. It still seems a little crazy to me too.......but I asked Amanda to move in with me! I know, it's a little fast, and we've only been dating for a few months now. But I have never felt this way about anyone else in my life! It's such a good feeling!
I study my case law in the evenings and Amanda studies new recipes. She's in the culinary field and wants to own her own restaurant one day. Most women would be appalled that I was working at home, but Amanda just picks up her books and does a little work too. How can you not love that?
This is what I wake up to in the mornings.....this, not an empty, lonely bed! She's even beautiful first thing in the morning! I know I sound crazy, but I really have never met anyone like her before........
But it's not all work and no play in our house! That's the beauty of having your own space. It's really a beautiful thing!
I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I hope I keep having luck like this! She had no problems moving in with me. No reservations or anything. So maybe she feels like I do. I don't really make grand gestures and say this silly romantic things to her. You see, I don't know where she stands. And if I come on too strong, then I may lose her all together. So apartment from the huge step of asking her to move in with me, I'm TRYING to take this slow. I don't know how long I can keep it inside though......
Waking up to her is one of the best things ever. I mean that. I've had girlfriends before who stayed with me. But there was always a point when I was like, ok, so what happened to your OTHER friends? But I really like spending time with Amanda. I don't mind having her around......sleep with her is the most peaceful sleep I think I've ever had....
Sometimes I wish I knew what she was thinking. I wish I knew how she felt about me......*I feel like I just gave birth (hypothetically of course, seeing as how I have never birth any children!)! I vow, here and now, never to get this freaking far behind! Round 2 coming up next! FINALLY!

ReplyDeleteGave birth, LOL! Try Flashnote. I heard about it from Carla (Sullivan Sims). Really handy. While playing, you can make your entry and no need to save. It just holds all the information on its own.
This was so sweet. I'm so glad Nickoli is so happy with Amanda and from her little thought bubble at the end there, it looks like she's happy with him too.
ReplyDeleteAnd seconding the recommendation of Flashnote! It's the best! I play in a window and Flashnote is constantly open so I can make little notes for myself. I use it for absolutely everything related to the game and my blog.
I am definitely going to look into that. I know I will probably still end up getting behind because of work and school and probably need to takes notes on what actually happens when I play. Because I play each family more than once during a round, it's hard to tell where one play session ends and the other begins!
